  • NOTIFICATION OF ATTESTATIONS

    The DTI University is, pursuant to Act No. 138/2019 Coll. on Pedagogical Employees and Vocational Employee and on amendment and supplement to certain laws, an attestation organization for the organization of 1st and 2nd attestation of pedagogical employees based on authorization to organize attestations No. 1/2024 – AT and authorization to organize attestations No. 2/2024 – AT, issued to it by the Ministry of Education, Research, Development and Sports of the Slovak Republic on 14. 2. 2024 in the following categories:

    • teacher (sub-category secondary school teacher),
    • master of vocational education.

     

    Attestation may be carried out by a pedagogical employee and vocational employee, who meets the qualification presumptions for the performance of labor activity in the relevant category or in sub-category of a pedagogical employee or in the relevant category of a vocational employee and has obtained no less than

    a) full secondary vocational education, if this relates to the first attestation, or

    b) university education of the master degree, if this relates to the second attestation.

     

    A pedagogical employee and a vocational employee may carry out the first attestation no sooner than five years after its introduction into the carrier level “single pedagogical employee” or “single vocational employee”.

     

    A pedagogical employee and a vocational employee may carry out the second attestation no sooner than five years after its introduction into the carrier level “pedagogical employee with first attestation” or “vocational employee with first attestation”.

     

    Information to a request to carry out attestation

     

    A pedagogical employee will file a request to carry out attestation, including an attestation portfolio.

     

    The attestation portfolio is a set of documents on the acquisition of profession competences required for the introduction into a higher carrier level, which are mainly:

    - documents about 

    1. obtaining of the required level and type of education (certificates, diploma, etc.),

    2. completion of the program of education (attestations, certificates, confirmations, etc.),

    - documents proving any creative activity of a pedagogical employee and a vocational employee (publication activity, teaching sources, reviewer´s reports, description of pedagogical experiences, peer-reviewed papers, external evaluation, etc.) or

    - confirmation on the utilization of the required profession competences acquired by self-education or by the performance of labor activity, issued by director.

     

     

    A request to carry out attestation, documents on completed education, attestation portfolio (in a printed form bound) and CD (USB) with the attestation portfolio will be delivered by the applicant to the address:

    Note to a delivery of requests:

    The applicant shall deliver documents on completed education and documents on obtaining profession competence bound in an attestation portfolio as verified or in case of non-verified copies the applicant shall bring the request in person together with originals of the documents for comparison of the contents of copies.

     

     

     

    The DTI University shall, within 60 days upon acceptance of the request:

    a) evaluate the attestation portfolio,

    b) determine the manner and form of supplement of the attestation portfolio, including a period for supplementation,

    c) recommend to complete pre-attestation education, if necessary,

    d) determined the term of defense of the attestation portfolio and attestation test, or

    e) reject the request for insufficient quality of the attestation portfolio.
